A decent result on paper. Lee clearly rang the changes, my first take was the teamsheet had a clearer definition. The next question was how we held up. I don't particularly rate Gosport in terms of creativity but traditionally are difficult to break down - Both sides on the back of pretty sub-par performances. Personally, I was still smarting post-Salisbury until about Thursday! Going in, Gosport held the top spot for scoring late, (last 15mins), at home in the division, so a
somewhat predictable perception formulated with regards to the affair.
Lee would have wanted a response, a bit of something for everybody. I would imagine for the gaffer a useful game in terms of cementing ideas with regards to future clashes with Gosport and our style in general.
