Don't understand why he didn't get more of a chance as the couple of times I saw him he looked dangerous .However we seem to be intent on short term loans and a revolving door syndrome. Not sure where this will take us but I do know that with Kameron English out I personally would have kept Dan for a little longer.

I’m with you on this, Dan looked extremely useful with good awareness and pace. And having seen Ash play a total stinker on Saturday in the same position (mercifully removed at half-time) it is quite puzzling.

Seems a bit odd to me too. On Saturday we were crying out for some pace out wide to stretch the Salisbury defence but because we had none, we ended up trying to weave our way through the middle and got picked off.

Can't comment about Saturday as I wasn't there. I too thought Dan had something useful to contribute and wondered why he wasn't used more.

I suspect, but have no proof either way, that his departure was a case of his deciding to leave for first team fooball elsewhere rather than Jimmy deciding to release him. That does make a difference.
