Strewth!

I need a big drink (and a manicure)!
Some things you should just keep to yourself!
I don't know what it was like down on there on the South Coast - Sod me, that was excruciating!
If nothing else thanks!

Haha, tell me about it.
The only thing harder than being at the game is watching it via Livescores.
Anyway, banana skin avoided, progression secured, clean sheet at last and a few quid in the back pocket. Let's hope for a decent draw on Monday.

This was very difficult with a mediocre performance. We lined up with Williams Calcutt English up front and Valentine behind but it didn’t really work. 1st half was devoid of excitement.
Little Common were much better than I had expected, solid defence and we gave them room in midfield. However they never caused major problems.
Change of formation 4-4-2 with Nyama in central midfield gave more freedom to Williams in particular but the goal was just a6 yard Rom header from a corner.
Ref was a fool, he played precisely 15 seconds injury time in the 2nd half when 4-5 minutes would have been reasonable.
Anyway the job is done.

Wow did we make hard work of beating a hard working but mediocre side who if my memory serves me right didn't have a shot on target in 90mins. Pitch wasn't the best very hard and bumpy. Still as has been said a few bob banked and in the draw for the next round. Congrats to little Common fc on getting this far for I think the 1st time ever. Best wishes to them for a successful season. Hopefully if we meet them again it will be at their own ground.

Hi! I came across a ground-hopper style YouTuber who attended Saturdays match at Eastbourne.. He had kind words for Hendon FC and helpfully included some highlights of the match, starting at about 7 min 40 secs.
