Staines FC

Just had a look at their fans' forum and somebody has posted a list of players used by Staines this season. I make it 101. Their secretary deserves a medal for filling out all those registration forms!
We've had quite a few this season but have we ever topped 101 ?!!

There's a very comprehensive statement from the owner of Staines on their forum now. I wish them well but sincerely hope we won't be playing them again next season..

I've had a look, I think the Neil Price era was when we had the most - 70 odd. Only took a quick flick through the appearance pages on the excellent website we have.

The first few months of the Neil Price era in 1995/6 was truly something to behold in terms of player turnover.
Between his first game on 2nd December against Molesey and a game on 3rd February against St Albans, he managed to use 33 different players in the space of 9 matches (this was in the day of 14 man matchday squads).
If you go back three further matches which take in Mick Browne's final match and the two under Ray Brandon's caretaker guidance the total increases to 44 different faces in just a dozen matches.

I recall that ridiculous period when we seemed to have 3 or 4 debutants in every match. It got to the point where I neither knew nor cared who they were. We used around 64 players that season.
