Travel Query Monday?

I might well be misinformed as usual. Just wondering if anyone can clarify if it is possible to commute on the Met Line Monday between Chalfont & Latimer directly to Chesham. I can't locate any details regarding engineering works, but the TFL site is displaying the viable route via a bus connection from Amersham? Should just add that I was originally planning to get to Chalfont via a straight connection from Marylebone - should that make any difference!
Best made plans and all that!

No advertised works and the planner is showing everything OK for me.
There's been a slight service change however since the new trains were introduced, all Chesham trains run through to central London, they are too long for the bay road at Chalfont.

TfL website shows two trains per hour travel from Baker Street direct to Chesham, leaving at 20 and 50, journey time 54 minutes. You are taking a gamble with the 1350, arriving 1444.

Cheers Dave. Let me explain my insanity - If nothing else for your own amusement! When I originally planned this one, the quickest overground train route (30mins) Marylebone to Chalfont - Great then just one stop on the Met line to Chesham. Checking TFL, as dipicted as of right now. The final leg, one stop on the Met line appears to characterise a journey from hell. Via Ammersham and incorporating a bus journey! I don't equate as to why you can get a train via Baker St, through C&L to Chesham direct but cannot get to C&L and not get a train, one stop to Chesham? I confess, I must be missing something obvious. I cannot be this stupid? Then again, your talking to someone who yesterday lost his mobile phone. Someone who has this season got on the wrong train to bloody Oxford and someone who inadvertantly locked himself in the toilet at Beaconsfield train station!
The handle had come off the door and had to be kicked in! Fellow greens finding the latter very amusing!

Chesham trains leave Chalfont and Latimer at 06 and 36. Your hell journey is just showing up because it arrives in Chesham just before the next direct train does.

Thanks for the info. Does change my perspective a tad. I honestly did not know the answer! I knew there had to be an explanation - telepathy not a strong point. Back to my Frosties - They're Great!
