Good solid point on the road

Clean sheet at a place where they average 2.5 goals a game. Maybe having ridden our luck once or twice- you would expect that. Trying to envisage familiar patterns for some of these away days in terms of what to expect. Scoring first at Taunton and Salisbury then being put on the back foot. These lads have demonstrated we can put on a show at home and dig out a result on the road. To do it consistently is impressive coming from what looked like a bunch of comparative misfits. Our combatants clearly have something about them. The journey's - often brought up - is without doubt, a challenge to be factored in. These lads are coping with the demands. Say's a lot about their willingness and collective mindset. We are going about our business diligently and building momentum. I get the distinct impression setbacks will be relatively short-lived. There's a lot to be admired. Onto Tuesday.

Yes, it was a good solid point.

Some of us before the game after seeing the pitch which was understandably bobbly and uneven, and having had a long long journey to the South West feared a 3-1 beating. It was a test of character which the boys came through well.

Tiverton are a strong and decent side and will be up and around the top 5 come the season's end, aside from efforts either end of the game one which Danny saved well and the other which came back off the bar, we did well in those tough conditions and came back with a well-earned point.

Really nice ground at Tiverton, has a lovely feel to it and is great for watching football, a really warm and friendly welcome from the locals too. Well worth the trip/
