Game by game you can already see the Gaffer trying to piece this together. More questions than answers, but the wheels are in motion. If the lad Chaps occupies the full back position this raises the question of Howie's domain and subsequently the lad Kai. Thought the new lad Jonas acquitted himself well. The other flank is clearly where the goals were leaked. The second-half lad, Plowright, was instrumental in the build-up of both our goals and left woefully exposed for two of theirs! I actually quite liked the lad, he reminded me a tad of Scotty Cousins - but he needs protection. The midfield is a quandry, hardly surprising 14 days in! The lad Laste,, last time was a non-event. He's grown somewhat and certainly gained some confidence. Similar to Trialist A, last week.
I believe once the shape of the side becomes more settled easier evaluation will ensue. We're an R&D project at Stage 1. The gaffers been handed a tough gig. There has been the odd passage of play which gives a possible indication of what could manifest. I think in boxing parlance we hold a punch. The fluency and cohesion will come the more we play.
Keep making progress.

Yesterday's game was the first friendly that I have attended.
I thought that we looked workmanlike in the first half but badly lost the defensive discipline in the second half, conceding two quick goals.
No real conclusions after the mass substitutions. Tyriq Hunter looked useful.
I guess that one of the things I'm not understanding at present is the status of this squad. Is it transisonal in the sense that we have simply recruited enough players to meet early season fixtures with the intention being to progressively strengthen the side through the season?
Again, are we simply in the position of having to recruit whatever players we can get that are prepared to undertake the excessive travelling?
No doubt tome will tell.

We’ve got a devastating right hand, a nifty left jab, an upper cut that needs work and a chin made out of glass! Lol!
