Balham - "corrected" to Valhalla by my spellchecker: Diversity Awareness not being integral to Viking culture, I doubt many of the recently deceased warriors in Saaf Lahndun or elsewhere on our streets will be allowed in - dethroned Cray Valley Paper Mills in the final last night, winning 4-1 at SJP.
317 in attendance.
Should be worth an official mention.
The Club needs to keep pushing to get these jamborees at SJP.
I just googled "Balham win London Senior Cup" and the only directly related link that came up was their Twitter feed. A poor show by the press... and presumably by the London FA's marketing & PR bods, though editors can be stubborn about not publicising minor sports events.

Congratulations to Balham.

I was mightily impressed by them when they turned us over at SJP and they have a superb team ethic and organisation. To knock us and Dulwich out, was in itself a major achievement.

I can't help thinking that the likes of Dulwich will be sniffing around some of their talent but I hope they keep the bulk of the team together because they have a very bright future.

And well done to Rob and Tom for getting the game at SJP. Another good attendance; it's been a hectic couple of weeks for the boys and girls behind the bar!
