Incredible - Almost Beyond Belief

Wow - I think I've just come back down to earth. Firstly, congratulations on the result. Leiston, despite their home record had failed a solitary victory against the three play-off sides home or away. Not sure how relevant that even is. May suggest something. Leatherhead, mid-week was the real deal-breaker. Going there, them throwing the kitchen sink at us - coming away with a win. Confidence must be off the charts.
As for Folkestone, the loss of home advantage having had such a favourable position will hurt.
These lads are growing in stature by the hour.
An incredible achievement - so proud of these lads.
The Guinness will taste good tonight!

A few weeks ago clever old me predicted that HFC would just miss out on the play off places. The Greens' storming finish has almost incredibly got us to 3rd place and a semi final home tie, not forgetting the MSC. A really tremendous achievement - sincere congratulations to the squad, management team and the wonderful loyalty of our band of hard core supporters. Never have I been so glad to be so wrong in my predictions!

Terrific stuff. We're away at the moment and I was following on the Bostik website (so many goals yesterday as teams seemed to have packed up for the season!). Came away thinking we were 4th.....but I'd missed the late Billericay equaliser. Great to have a home draw and great for Rob/Tom to have another high profile match at SJP.. Whatever happens now, it's been a superb season to watch.

The cheer that greeted news of O'Hara's equaliser was as big as that for either goal. Does the thought of not trekking down to Kent have a pyschological impact? Not sure.
Really enjoyable game yesterday between two good sides. Considering the back four had three playing out of position, they dealt with the Leiston threat pretty well. Shout out though to Rian Bray who stood up and took responsibility to organise the back four. A performance way beyond his years.
Another excellent finish from Ash to add to his repertoire and Dan Uchechi had his most effective game in some time.
Whatever happens from here, it's been a magnificent season and the boys deserve nothing but credit. At this point in the season players often seem to be running on empty, but we still looked pretty fresh yesterday.
Can't wait for Thursday, it's going to be a battle but one I'm really looking forward to.
