March Madness!

This has to be one of the most competitive play-off contests. I can't recall a race where-by so many of the teams clash. I reckon there's around 70 points up for grabs. It's going to be a challenge. Top 9 in-house league.
Folkestone (Home) Margate, Leiston, Dulwich (Away) Staines, Billericay
Staines (Home) Hendon, Leiston, Folkestone, Margate (Away) Billers, Leatherhead
Leiston (Home) Margate, Hendon, Wingate (Away) Staines, Folkestone, Leatherhead
Hendon (Home) Margate, Billers (Away) Leatherhead, Staines, W&F, Leiston
Margate (Home) Billericay (Away) Leiston, Folkestone, Staines, Dulwich
Tanners (Home) Hendon, Billers, Staines, Dulwich & Leiston - None Away
Wingate (Home) Dulwich, Billers, Hendon (Away) Folkestone, Leiston, Billers
My take:- Dulwich & Margate one foot in the play-offs - Dulwich without a win in 6 & have 8 left away - their's to lose. Hendon & Staines, shadow-boxing either or both. Wingate & Leiston, similar did-position, outsiders, but still clearly in the mix. Leatherhead, massive fixture benefits. FWP have us dropping points in the next 2 weeks - Folkestone have it tough. Meaningless to some degree - but equally compelling. Think clean sheets!
What a game next week is. Well done for the effort yesterday lads.

Absolutely agree that March will really sort out the sheep from the goats (was going to say the men from the boys but this might be regarded as sexist in these pc days). My four for the play offs are Dulwich, Margate, Folkestone and Leatherhead. Sorry Greens but I think (wrongly I hope) that we will just miss out this season - be interesting to see other predictions.
However, we have the Three Counties Cup Final to look forward to, having beaten a Hertfordshire team in the SF with a Surrey team to face in the final.

Three Counties Cup Final - I like that description. It's certainly very apt. London is more - clubs from Middx, Essex, Surrey, London and Kent certainly take part.
As for the play offs - I agree its the most open its been for a while. No one can afford too many slip ups - hopefully January was our wobble, and we can get people fit during our blank midweek this week.
Another excellent team performance, shame about the individual error leading to their goal, but these things happen.
We keep going.

In our case it's not so much the problem of the wobble but with all the injuries we seem to be running out of players. This must be one of the worst seasons we have had for the number of players injured and the length of time players have been out.

Thirteen to go,(5Home and 8Away) ,I think we have got just as good a chance of reaching the play offs as any of the other outfits ,but whatever the outcome the team have done us proud,so let"s get behind them and hope that they can propel us to the land of National League South.
While we are dreaming of possible promotion,we should wish all the best to Dulwich and Thurrock in their battle for survival,I hate seeing teams in any sport face closure,so let"s cross fingers for them.
