The squad

Good news in today''s programme about Olly''s return to fitness. We picked up more bookings today and I wonder how close we are to a spate of suspensions.

The other squad issue now that Kezie has left is that I imagine Gary will wish to sign another central striker to cover if Nico is suspended or injured.

No issues on the suspension front for accrued bookings at the moment - we've passed the 5 booking amnesty date (30th November), which means players now won't pick up a suspension until they reach 10 bookings. We had a couple of players serve 1 game suspensions for reaching 5 games back in October. The most bookings anyone has got after today is 7. You can see how many cards each player has got by going to www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/discipline/suspensions/clubdiscipline?league=46&club=10619694

Harly Wise will be suspended for three games, starting on Boxing Day, following his red card at Dorking.

Some of you will have noticed that Wingate had two sent off today. As far as I can make out - the FA website only updates after referees have entered their match report, Claudiu Vilcu is on a one game suspension, so will be available to play us, but Ahmet Rifat picked up his 2nd red card of the season, so automatically gets a minimum 2 game ban starting on Saturday, so will miss our New Years Day game.
