I felt the performance on Saturday was very professional and we certainly have a side to be proud of again, the defence looked solid and some of our attacking play in the first half particularly was a joy to watch, in the second half we dealt with there more physical approach in a very professional manner, it was also nice to meet so many old friends from seasons past, particularly as I don't get down as much as I used to these days. It still proves to me that non league is the best

Should we defeat Burgess Hill and be drawn at home in the next round of the Trophy, the entire month of November will be at home. 10 potential home games in a row. I can't do Margate away or Boxing Day - my next away game as things stand - 30th December! Very odd.
Hendon are doing my head in at the moment - throw in the weather, trains and wonky fixture list. I'm toying with the thought that all these home games, despite our record to date, is unquantifiable. I think there's a lot to process at the moment. Should we continue to fire on all cylinders at home, we can break the back of the season.
It's going to be interesting to see where we are come the New Year.
