Last Night

Very much Jekyll & Hyde last night. An awful first half where we found ourselves deservedly 2 goals behind to a thoroughly well organised young Wingate side was salvaged by the half-time introduction of Dan Uchechi and a second half performance full of intensity, pace and intent against understandably tiring opposition.

A couple of regulars didn't do themselves too many favours and I'll reserve judgement on the two new signings that started. I did think Rian McClean (you wait 109 years for on Rian and then two arrive inside three months!) looked neat and tidy when he came on.

Four top drawer finishes, Olly's probably the pick - and four out of five crisply executed penalties from those in Green as well saw us finally come out on top.
