Unfair advantage?
Several TV football pundits have recently been opining that playing on artificial pitches gives the home team an unfair advantage. If this is so, HFC don't seem to know about it!
Perhaps we should rip up the plastic and go back to playing on natural surfaces.

Presumably this is with regards to Sutton's FA Cup success on an artificial pitch? If their pitch was a mud-heap then these self same pundits would be saying the same thing about the conditions being a 'great leveller'.

Sutton did have an unfair advantage.
They wanted it more and their team all play competitive football twice a week.
Championship academy kids don't.
