Regardless of the rights and wrongs of the club's decision this week (they've already been raked over on the other thread), I'd just like to take a moment to thank Kevin for the good times he shared with the club. When at his best he was one of the most valuable players in the squad. As Gary said the other day, he was happy to spend time with the club's fans, took time with mascots when captain and was as much a feature of the club in the last decade as anyone else. While I may have been one of those who called for action to be taken (more than once), I'm saddened his career was soured and ended the way it did over the last two years; if he can get his temperament under control (and I sincerely hope he can) he can be a valuable asset for another club.
