Enfield MSC

I'm quite surprised nobody has mentioned the match on Tuesday so here goes.
I could see the improvements in the side along with the season defining signing of Tom Lovelock, so I had a wee punt at generous odds of 7/2 and how the boys rewarded me against pretty decent opposition.
There was lots of defending to be done, and yes ball retention does have to improve to release some of the self imposed pressure but I lost count of the times a Hendon head or foot were first to the ball. So many 50/50 challenges were won.
Elliott Charles & Karl Olyide never stopped working up top with Marcel Barrington offering valuable support.
Yes, Enfield did have a few chances and missed a sitter in the second half, but the Dons opened them up several times too. Delighted for Karl. He took all 3 goals beautifully. Keagan Cole looked a different player once we took the lead.
Still not the finished product, but if the squad show the same commitment and attitude every game until the end of the season, I'm extremely optimistic that Premier Division status will be retained.

Must've been a great performance for sure. A great boost for team morale. However if you ask any Hendon fan if they would rather take 3 pts today and get stuffed 6 @ Enfield in a minor cup comp they would bite your hand off.
The reason I say this is because on numerous occasions this season a good performance has been followed by a shocker. Have to keep the levels consistent.
