Last Night against Dagenham & Redbridge

Some may disagree but I thought that last night's result in no way reflected Hendon's performance. Playing against presumably full-time opposition, Hendon controlled possession and territorial advantage for almost the entire game. I just wonder how our opponents wiil cope In the coming season in the Conference. Yes, they were clinical in their finishing, aided by one or two defensive errors, but Hendon would have been ahead had it not been for clearing a goalbound shot off their opponents' line!
The pitch played brilliantly in the rain, helping Hendon's fast attacking style. Overall it was a great evening's entertainment, rounded off by a goal of sheer class by Aaron Morgan.

Agree that there was a lot of pleasing football played by us. But we look a bit wonky at the back and seem to lack height.
I wonder if we shall persist with the 3-5-2 that we played in the first half? Our wing-backs played very high and often left us 3 v 3 at the back.
The second half saw us go to more of a 4-4-2 but if anything we looked more open. But at least our second half team had a lot of pace up front and some of our wing play was excellent.

I agree we do lack height. Not surprisingly we got powered out of it by Dagenham. Narrower score line but the same thing happened against Margate.
