Hendon v QPR

Another thoroughly entertaining match more than matching last year's fixture with an SJP record attendance for Hendon. It was a great atmosphere throughout on a very special occasion that would have seemed unthinkable four years ago.

I felt that the QPR team this year were better physically and technically, so that the end result in no way disgraced Hendon. Had Kezie equalised after a fine move in the last minute rather than hitting the inside of the post, nobody could have grumbled with the result. Hendon finished the match strongly in my opinion - not an easy feat against full-time opposition.

I agree. A thoroughly entertaining game. I thought that The QPR number 5 looked an outstanding player and hope he goes on to have a fine career.

I thought Hendon did very well to make it difficult for QPR to run away with the game. A couple of chances at the end of each half that should have been goals too. Based on the 3 games so far and considering the level of opposition in 2 of the games and I think Hendon are looking very competitive this season.

Three of their goals were very very soft, especially the one in the first 5 seconds, strolled through unopposed. However, once the defenders get to know each other a bit I'm sure that will be rectified, now is the time to get these things out of the way.

Excellent turnout, hopefully bodes well for league Saturdays, particularly when we can pick up some floating fans when local games are rained off.
