I think this season has been one of the most difficult that Hendon have encountered, and it is great to see that they have preserved there rightful place in the Ryman premier, it was always going to be difficult having missed promotion by a referees decision, but I don't think anyone expected the number of players who would walk away from the fight. But lets give praise to those who stayed and the new recruits, I agree the return of Carl McCluskey has been a big factor as has the loyalty shown by the others who stayed, Sam Flegg has been a fine example of this willing to play anywhere in the fight for survival. This has been my 56th year of following Hendon and although I don't get to many games these days, I always look for there result first. We now look forward to Sjp our own ground again and with the mixture of youth and experience exciting times are ahead. Thanks to every member of this years squad, you are all heroes, one final thing does anyone know what has happened to Adam Wallace

Adam Wallace was last seen appearing as a substitute for Chalfont St Peter in their home match against Egham Town on 9th April. It appears to be a dual registration since Adam has not been removed from our current list of players.

Interestingly (or not), Adam was the 11th player with Hendon connections to play for Chalfont St Peter's first team this season, though two of the 11 never played competitively for us. The 11 are, in likely shirt order:

Brendan Hazlett, Lewis Ochoa, Craig Carby, Mark Kirby, Ryan Wharton, Michael Murray, Victor Osobu, Aaron Lansiquot, Adam Wallace, Anthony Thomas, Craige Tomkins - Osobu and Lansiquot being the two to only play in friendlies.
