What is the latest update on our walking wounded ? Can Mark elaborate on this please. It would be great to see Messrs.Braithwaite,Bettache,Seeby,Shulton ,Fisher and any I have forgotten back in action,I'm presuming that Casey Mc.is straining at the leash to return in a few weeks time,he'll certainly bolster the midfield area.

From looking at twitter it looks like Scott Shulton is going to be out till late in the season or until the end of the season as he had a operation on his ankle I believe.

In terms of the others, speaking to Freddie before Burgess Hill a few weeks ago, Brathwaite is likely to be back in pre-season at the absolute earliest - chances are even later than that, if at all.

Not sure about Maz, Seebs shouldn't be far away now and seems to be building up his fitness. I expect he'll go away on dual registration to build up fitness. As for Fish, word is that he was finding it difficult to come back from regular injuries, not necessarily serious ones, and has decided to hang up his boots.

I would suggest that with the nature of Casey's ban, it would be unlikely to see him straight back into action from Feb 1st, as the ban won't allow him to have any game time even in friendlies etc - it will be like having a player who missed pre season, he'll need to be eased back into it IMO.

Casey can have a few games for my Sunday team if he wants. We'd get him fit....the amount of running he'd have to do on behalf of our lazy midfield!
