Before I book an advance train ticket for yet another Suffolk trip can anyone tell me if there is a coach planned for this FA Cup tie?
Also, anyone up for cab sharing from Stanford le Hope to ETU (both directions) on Tuesday week?

Suffolk is out of reach for me but I will need a taxi next week away from Canvey - no doubt I'm not alone in that.
Last time I went the damn thing never turned up and I was stranded outside the ground in pitch darkness - the joy's of it all.
Talking of Sudbury, they lie second in the league and are no doubt aided by a 3G surface. Just what we want.
We have some real long journeys and stiff examinations coming up on the road. They will be gunning for us.
I'm fed up with recent events, but we can't adopt a siege mentality or one day the wheels may come off and we all know the significance of a FA Cup run.
Remain composed, and concentrate, particularly in light of any provocation and we can overcome what really matters and that is the opposition on the field.
My view is that some of the recent events have been as a by-product of falling marginally short of perceived expectations. Some of it clearly has been out of order. I also believe that other sides are aware of us and may tend to target us and become more physical, we can't play into their hands. It's a back-handed compliment. It's time to let our football do our talking.
The fans and staff are agitated and this particular fan and others feel let down. But we have to move on.
Let's get this campaign up and running. An important month lies ahead.

Rob, a taxi from Benfleet to Canvey next week only makes sense if you a really trying to save a few minutes, or there are a few to share the fare. Bus number 27 goes from the station to virtually outside the ground, and runs every 15 minutes on Saturdays according to the timetable and return tickets can be purchased I believe.
I'll be getting the bus on the way there (albeit from Southend) but plan on getting the bus back to Benfleet afterwards.

I have to look at logistics and timings for Tuesday week against East Thurrock (will be coming from Milton Keynes) - but if I do go, would be more than happy to cab-share.

I suspect the earliest we'll hear anything about a coach for AFC Sudbury is Wednesday or Thursday.
The club will need to speak to AFC Sudbury regarding all the match arrangements first, and that won't happen until Tuesday. Also there'll be consultation with Gary as to whether he wants a coach or not.
The only difference would be if the supporters association decide to run their own coach in which case we might hear something tomorrow.

Not sure whether I'll be going to ETU, so please don't depend on me for a cab share.

Paul, I still might go, just didn't want anyone relying on me, or letting anyone down by not showing. Your usual meeting place is The Inn On The Green. If I go I'll try and look in and see if you're there.

Nice one I'll be in there regardless.

Waiting on Jake getting back to me then deciding whether to go, don't fancy going on my own but will have a few beers if he's coming.
