A very little nit pick

The Greensnet home page shows the next fixture, the friendly v Northwood, as being a "home" game. This is being played at SJP as is indicated in the fixture section. As I believe we will be playing our home competitive games at Earlsmead for most if not all the coming season, the next game reference is a little confusing at least to senile dinosaurs like myself!
Delighted to hear about Gary's deserved testimonial game - let's hope it attracts a bumper and generous crowd.

I suspect that the Northwood game is shown as 'Home' despite it being at SJP because the club will want to play as many 'home' non-competitive matches as possible there. We are also playing Haringey Borough in a home pre-season at SJP on 21st July.
Once the 3G pitch at SJP was available for use last season, we played three friendlies there plus the London Senior cup-tie against Corinthian-Casuals.
For an important match like Gary's testimonial it makes sense to play it at Earlsmead as it has much better facilities at present than SJP, added to which, if we get the size of attendance that we'd like to see turn up for Gary, we'll hopefully need two turnstiles and as far as I'm aware SJP has only one.

Hi all,
The truth is far simpler than that.. The fixture is to all intents and purposes a home game (we're hosting it) , but the website code doesn't account for home or away games hosted at alternative venues, which SJP currently is.
As you've seen, the fixtures page does a better job... I'll try and do something similar on the home page in the next week or two (as well as update the Snowball results at last!)
Good spot Mike, thanks.

Disappointing in a way to have Gary's testimonial at the morgue rather than SJP, would even have been a better idea to save it for the official grand opening of SJP after the improvements are complete.
