Red Card Appeal

The club appealed Aaron Morgan's red card from the play-off final and it has been overturned by the FA, so he will be available from Day 1 of 2015/6.

Great news for Aaron and the club ahead of the new season.

We may not have beaten Margate 11 v 11, but we'd have had a distinctly better chance with the full complement of players.

That's good news.

A bit after the event but does anyone know why Elliot Braithwaite didn't play against Margate? Was it injury or suspension?

He was in Mexico apparently. A victim of the dates being moved and being unable to rearrange his trip.

It's great news to know that Aaron Morgan has been cleared of all blame in the tragic play-off final sending off. I am quite sure that Hendon would have won with eleven on the pitch. Aaron Morgan, Leon Smith and Kezie Ibe have all had great seasons and together must surely be the vital key to automatic promotion next season.

Thankfully there was decent video evidence and that common sense has prevailed. Let's hope that Aaron can take some consolation from this and that he will be back with us next season. I've really enjoyed watching him play this season and I believe the best is yet to come from him.
