Astonishing

This squad is something else. I thought we may slip up tonight against what is traditionally a fluent opposition.
The average age of our squad is around the mid-twenty mark. Our centre-halfs are 20 and 21 and look majestic. Our established players still have years in the tank. Fish and Seebs absent.
I thought we would miss Seebs driving down the flank, but we have consistently overcome challenges and frankly now just dismiss these instances with flagrant equanimity.
We've turned Earlsmead into a fortress - that's probably my biggest surprise of the season. I genuinely doubted we could generate dominance at Earlsmead.
The younger lads have matured beyond their years and have become battle hardened.
Keep going chaps.

I must admit I at least half expected us to lose last night in our 4th game in a week but the team did us proud yet again with an excellent all round performance and Kevin's goal was truly spectacular. Well done everyone.
