A few stats
Whilst I've stepped away from my roles at the club and am not attending games - I am keeping my stats up to date and there were two that cropped up tonight.
Firstly - Andre's goal was our 900th goal scored since Gary took over as manager. (We've conceded 811).
Tonight's win was our 30th of the season (in 50 games - 12 draws, 8 defeats). Most we'd won in a season previously under Gary was 29 out of 55 in 2011-12. (The penalty shoot-out win at Barking counts as a draw as far as I'm concerned).
If I've worked it out right, and I'm happy to be corrected, I believe 5 more wins will guarantee us a play off spot - and that's assuming the chasing pack don't drop points in the meantime. My feeling is that 3 more wins will be enough.
The other one that arose on Saturday was when Kezie scored his 20th goal, it meant it was the first time we had 2 players score 20 or more goals in a season since the Whitmarsh & Lewis partnership in 1998/99 - who scored 70 between them (42 & 28 respectively).
