I think Whyteleafe is a very curious choice of ground for the final. Why couldn't it have been somewhere in N/NE London enabling relatively easy access for both sets of fans. The League obviously had some flexibility in choice as they have moved it from Maidstone. Baffled.

Agree. Must be because nobody else wanted to host it apart from Whyteleafe and their 3G pitch. Means Grays will have to sod about crossing the Dartford Bridge in the rush hour. Anyway, new ground for me and my first Hendon final for 43 years!!!!

Apparantly both finalists suggested Harlow Town as the venue for the final as they also have a 3G pitch. Suggests to me that Harlow have something else scheduled that they can't postpone or cancel.
