Matchday Volunteers - A plea

Hello all,

I am writing with begging bowl here.

We are really struggling to have enough volunteers to fill the various roles that require doing on a match-by-match basis.

With a number of home matches coming up in the next eight or nine weeks, I hate to have to keep asking the same few (and it is a few) hard-working and willing volunteers to continually come to the ground early, or stay late time after time. On a few occasions this season, we have come close to not being able to cover everything.

Therefore, I am asking if anyone can spare even so much as a quarter of an hour to help us out on a Matchday to please let me know. Spreading the load amongst many hands will make much lighter work for everyone concerned.

You needn't miss any of the game, you won't have to pay so much as a dime (or a penny) on the occasions you do help out and you will earn the genuine gratitude of the board, the Supporters Trust, the Supporters Association and the playing staff for helping everything progress smoothly on matchdays.

Thanks,

John
