Thanks for posting that.....enjoyed sitting in the boozer (Warwick Castle, Little Venice...) watching that. Great header from Braithwaite. Good for him....I was at Bognor when he got a bit of a hard time and was taken off at half time. So nice to see a good lad come back with something very positive.

Ps also couldn't resist watching Hendon v Newcastle in 1974. Wasn't there...but my Dad was and it looked like a proper FA Cup Tie. Well beaten....but giving it everything.

Still rankles that after Malcolm Macdonald had put the Geordies ahead with that superb 25 yard daisy cutter, the officials missed Pat Howard trying to part Kieran Somers from his shirt at a Hendon corner. I periodically look at the picture in that old Rothman's annual and think "Blimey! If the photographer saw it how come the ref didn't?"
