Can't praise everybody enough.
Insufficient words in our vast vocabulary to fully acknowledge what the management and playing staff have produced week in, week out. 2 defeats in 20 - even the most optimistic individual could not have envisaged this. I'm sure the lads have got their feet placed firmly on the ground.
Next Saturday, a real acid test.
The gaffer really has done a magnificent job. The 'old timers' are the core of which around he has built a combination of youth and experience. Replacements are introduced as circumstances prevail - certainly no panic measures.
It's been a priviledge to watch it all evolve.
Here's to continued success.
Well done lads.

What a positive and well balanced post that was. Sums it up very nicely! Hope to be at the Bognor away game all things being equal. #greenarmy

Good game on slick pitch. At times our passing game worked well. Just shaved the first half and deserved to be 2-1 up at half-time. The second goal was a fluke, a Leo shot getting a massive deflection off Kezie but as many of as have said in the past, if you have a go then always a chance of a deflection.
Bury started the second half well and applied a little pressure and Ben had to make a few good saves. We then came back into it and could easily have wrapped the game up with Dave Diedhiou header (wonderfully saved), Kezie shot on the turn and Belal far post volley. Then, just as entering injury time, the one thing we were all praying wouldn't happen, happened - Bury awarded penalty for reckless challenge, not sure by whom. Ben danced around on the goal line and then dived to his left to palm away the penalty kick. Much delight all around. Then in last minute, an opportunist goal by Kezie - chasing, from a long way back, a loose ball in the centre of Bury's half. The Bury defender slipped and Kezie slid the ball under advancing goalkeeper. Game over.
