v Dorchester Town

Although I live in Weymouth/Bournemouth, I still work in Dorchester so if anyone wants to know anything, where to drink, where to eat, car parking, just email me and I'll be happy to oblige.

If you are coming down for the day, can I suggest a morning visit or drop-off at the Weymouth seaside (again happy to recommend pubs and eateries on here) before a 10 minute drive to Dorchester, or two stops on the train if you prefer.

You can very safely assume that all of the Hutton clan, + hangers-on will be at the game. Bring it on!

As the gaffer said yesterday though, it's important for the team to stay focussed as there are a couple of equally important league games coming up before the Cup day out.

We are the famous....the famous Hendon!!

If you are coming to Weymouth first Bryan, then the local chippie that I use is called the Sea Chef in King Street, just by the clock tower on the sea-front. Never had any complaints from me!
Widely accepted by the locals as the best is the Marlborough which is situated by the bridge on the harbour.

There isn't a crazy golf on the beach at Weymouth but there is one at the Lodmoor Country Park which is a five minute drive along the sea front.

But surely if you come to Weymouth you have to sample the Dorset Burger Company - a restaurant in King Street......it gets my very personal recommendation!!

There is a chippie in Dorchester town centre but this is about 10-15 minutes walk from the ground.

Hpe this helps Bry! ;-)

I will be arriving in Weymouth at 12pm, and my train back leaves Weymouth at 7.03pm. So unfortunately, not a lot of time for me in Weymouth.

You will still have a good couple of hours drinking time Paul. Plenty of time to jump on the train back to Dorch and then a short walk to the ground!
