Not sure if this was a wind - up but below is part of a post from an Enfield supporter on the Leatherhead message board:-
"Looking forward to coming down to you boys Saturday. Is there a safe way to get to the ground from the station as I've heard other supporters from other teams getting attacked walking through some park and mugged of all their hard earned money in the city. We will be in our numbers but you know what these eastern european travellers are like."
Anyone else heard about these alleged problems? I thought Leatherhead was a posh place.

I saw that this morning and checked - Leatherhead aren't aware of any problems. Pretty certain it's a wind up.

Been there loads of times with the Hamlet in our D1S days and sounds like a complete load of rubbish to me. Not so much a wind-up as unhelpful and unnecessary stirring. The quickest direct route from station to ground is along a footpath running parallel to the railway line on the same side as where the trains out of London pull in, with a small park/recreation ground to the left, bringing you out onto Waterway Road. Takes about ten minutes.
