A point gained

Arguably two points lost, but would have taken a point if offered it this morning. Some great performances today, Big Dave in particular put in a massive shift. Lots of others played their socks off. Defensively a bit wobbly and the keeping on both sides was interesting. Good day out, great burger and lovely people at Tonbridge. Only downer was the odd behaviour of a member of the Tonbridge coaching staff. Provocative, confrontational, foul-mouthed and a bit of an embarrassment.

I'll take a point.

Highly entertaining 90mins, two busy sides hungry for the 3 points in a good clean game. Look forward to seeing the Tonbridge equaliser on YouTube!

Well done to their keeper, he put the first 45 behind him and pulled off a number of good saves in the second half. Although he should avoid taking career advice from that sh1t stirrer behind the goal. Totally unprofessional for a member of coaching staff to behave like that.

Inclusive of Canvey, Kingstonian & Tonbridge away.
A real roller-coaster today, (positives & negatives), but as we have hit the wall with injuries & suspensions one can only admire and respect the physical demands we have placed on a limited squad.
The Kent sides are clearly positioned to set the benchmark.
We can be damn proud of what we have achieved in the past couple of weeks as initial vagaries of the campaign settle down.
That was a real challenge today, it was always going to be. We had our chances to wrap it up.
I actually remain more concerned by lower percieved opposition.
I sense we have a quiet steely determination about our persona - that comes from the management and the
playing staff. There will be bad days at the office, but we are clearly a match for anyone. We have the capabilities to adapt within our personnel. I maintain we have yet to seen the best of the lads - a definitve performance. I look forward to seeing it.
Respect.
