If you are not able to get to the match this Saturday v AFC Rushden and Diamonds don't worry you can get continuous live commentary on Radio Diamonds www.radiodiamonds.co.uk.Wherever you are in the world we will be with you.
We broadcast all Diamonds matches home and away. Cant promise to be unbiased but we do acknowledge good and fair play when appropriate.

Oh sorry....Your chairman has just refused us entry to the match, on the grounds that it will effect the gate.
I can assure him that any Diamonds fan who can get to the game will be there, minimum 300.The only people who are unable to get to the game are either working, on hols or housebound. In all the time we have broadcast I have never heard anyone say "I am not going to the game because I can listen on the internet"

Is he not satisfied that he will get one of his highest crowds of the season, regardless of our broadcasting and Diamonds fans will frequent the clubhouse on a large scale. (Just ask Bedford)

His decision goes against the spirit of Non League football being one big family. We are "Better Together".
Should the match be drawn be assured we will be broadcasting to you on Tuesday evening as our Chairman is a much more far sighted individual.

I can't believe that Simon has done this nor can I imagine that an internet broadcast will affect the gate. A ban would mean that supporters of either team who cannot attend game - whether in hospital, at work or whatever - don't have the chance of enjoying the game. Hopefully, Simon will have a re-think on this.

Hope this is just a misunderstanding and will be corrected in time.
Club should accept and welcome the publicity

I'm pleased to say that permission has now been given for Radio Diamonds to broadcast tomorrow, which is entirely the correct decision in my opinion.
