...which is a considerable achievement.
Well matched with the organ for which he writes, though.

I thought the article on the centre pages of The Sun was excellent, factually correct and none of the usual condescending b*ll*cks you normally get about non league football from the mainstream media. The two videos were also excellent and Wrighty seemed to have a genuine empathy for non league football. His interview with Jimmy Quail was great, especially in the way he was able to relate his own FA Cup experiences to Hendons in 1974.
Ian Wright is now one of my favourite footballers of all time. Right up their with Denis Law, David Hyde, Danny Lakey, David Hogwood, Rod Haider, Paul Collett, Peter Anderson, Peter Deadman, Alan Phillips, Bobby Childs, John Swannell, John Baker..........Gary McCann, Eugene, Butler and Cooper, Binsey, Scott Cousins, Leo, the Burgos, the Maclarens, Leon Smith and the entire team who won today and made the most of publicity The Sun are affording the club.

MD - I'm going to assume that you forgot to mention my two all-time favourite players.

I am afraid to say Simon, that there is a big gap in my time supporting Hendon when I only followed them on teletext - apart from watching them on their occasional trips to the west country (Yeovil, Cheltenham, Forest Green and memorably Bath City). It was during this time that I sadly missed AC and DD becoming Hendon legends

That's a shame - I understand he thinks highly of you.
