Harrow victory

So many spectators commented at half time that this was the best first 45 minutes for some time. Had we been 5 nil up, Harrow could not have complained. Thankfully an early 2nd half freakish goal, in more ways than one ( offside?, out of play?, own goal?, referee discussions etc.) put a fairer scoreline in place.

I have to say that every single Hendon player was outstanding today. Harrow's defence may have been iffy, (and I am sure that Alan Hansen would have had something to say about that), but I prefer to simply say that the Hendon attack was outstanding. It was good to see Richard Worrell have a short appearance - some impressive touches, and another invaluable striker.

I was gutted in not being able to go (on medical grounds) but delighted with the result - 3 home games, 3 wins and 0 goals conceded. A great contrast to last season's home form. Let's hope that these results get more people through the turnstiles and more immediately that on Saturday we can at last beat one of our real bogey teams, Enfield Town.
