pre/post match music

Just a suggestion, I know it was done sporadically last season, something to improve the "match day experience" as well as raise a few extra pennies - how about doing the song requests for every home game? Even at £1 a pop it could well make a few quid, could obviously veto any requests for songs that are inappropriate or offensive, reckon it was a decent idea last season and something we should look into again.

Over to DJ Bryan for this one - although I'm happy to do this if & when I'm on the PA, and know about it in time to organise requests.

Completely agree it is a good idea.

Apologies...

Totally agree with the rationale behind the request. Believe it worked well last time, and I hear they have a similar scheme at the Hamlet.

Sadly I lack the technological capability to compile such requests and burn CDs so can't do it myself.

So, unless there are any volunteers to operate that side of things, you're stuck with lame 1990s indie disco and random country nonsense.

I believe Silver Jubilee park will be equipped with a state of the art DJ booth, extensive lighting rig, Glastonbury-standard sound system and a bubble machine, so pre-match entertainment will improve markedly then.

I have an idea which I'll run past Bryan on Saturday. If I can find the right cable(s), I may have an idea that'll make this easy to do.

Leave this with me for a week or two.

Hi

Grooveshark.com is a really good site where you can stream music.
You can also do a playlist before (if you signup and it is free to sign up).

hope this helps if you have not solved the problem before.

That's a good shout by Ola.

I'm signed up to Spotify and I've just listened to the digitally remastered version of Wheels by Joe Loss. I have to say it was truly dreadful. Nostalgia is a wonderful thing but not everything from the past is as good as we think we remember it!
