3G pitches

I see today that The Football Conference will allow 3G pitches in all their 3 divisions from 2015-16. Happily, common sense has prevailed in the the light of huge improvements in artificial surfaces, as exemplified by Maidstone and others.

After last year's awful wet winter, the future looks so much brighter across the non-league sector. Virtually no non-league club should now harbour any doubts about the installation of such a surface.

That's a huge relief in terms of not limiting our potential at SJP, yes for moneybags Maidstone it's a bit more of a pressing issue, but pleased that the Conference have brought themselves into the 21st century at last.
