Staines Town v Hendon - POSTPONED
Views: 5690
Tomorrow's game has been postponed due to the continued rain, along with the flooding that has affected various areas along the River Thames.
The Wheatsheaf Lane ground and car park were both flooded at the weekend.
A new date will be announced as soon it has been agreed with Staines and the Middlesex FA.

In case you read anything to the contrary no new date has yet been confirmed for the Staines game. It'll be tomorrow at the earliest that a new date will be announced. At the time of writing the Harrow game is still on next Monday. Once everything is sorted well post the new date in the usual places.

We have had the new date for the Staines game confirmed this morning, and it will be played, weather & floods permitting, on Tuesday 18th February at Wheatsheaf Lane.
Consequently our home game against Harrow on Monday has been postponed until later in the season. We'll announce the new date once it has been agreed with Harrow and the Ryman League.

There may well be a date and venue change for the Staines game. We will update via the usual channels once something is confirmed.
Please assume that we're at Wheatsheaf Lane on Tuesday evening until you hear otherwise from an official source.
Staines game - Monday 17th February at Hayes & Yeading Utd

The Staines Town game will now be played on Monday 17th February on the 3G pitch at Hayes & Yeading United. Kick off will be at 7.30pm. Admission will be £5 to hopefully include a programme. Please note that the 3G pitch is caged, and as this is a competitive fixture, spectators must remain outside of the cage at all times.
The change of date and venue ensures that we can get this cup tie played and out of the way without causing further disruption to the fixture list. As mentioned earlier today, the Middlesex FA have given clubs permission to find alternative venues to get the ties played to help keep the competition on schedule.
Hayes & Yeading United's base is at Beaconsfield Road where many supporters will have seen us play Yeading FC in years gone by. Whilst the main stadium is still being built, they have had an active 3G facility there for the past couple of years and both ourselves and Staines are very grateful to them for allowing us to use it.
