Quickest ever hat-trick

I was intrigued to read in the Biggleswade report the reference to Anthony Thomas's hat-trick (6 minutes?) possibly being the quickest ever in the history of the club. The only other two possible contenders are John Butterfield (9 minutes) at home to Sutton in January 1977 and Isaiah Rankin (7 minutes) in April 2012 at Aveley. I saw all three hat-tricks, and frankly each deserves special recognition in the club's history.

I had forgotten about Rankin's hat-trick being so quick at Aveley. Thanks for the reminder.

Strictly speaking Thomas's hat-trick was 8 minutes (by my timings). I timed them at 84, 87 and 90+2.

I didn't see Butterfield's hat-trick, but was there on that very wet afternoon at Aveley to see Rankin's.

Completely agree that each one deserves special recognition.
