Well, it depends on how you interpret the phrase "very basic team". I too thought Hendon were a fairly basic team, but there's less that can go wrong when you keep it simple. Hendon defended doggedly, were solid in the centre of midfield and attacked well with pace and width; the centre forward scored a well taken goal and they caught Dulwich napping with a bit of imagination at a free kick. Meanwhile Dulwich played lots of pretty passing football with little end product, several good players were rendered less effective by playing out of their best positions, they didn't field a proper striker (with two left on the bench) and looked very lightweight up front, and all of the most difficult saves had to be made by the Dulwich keeper. I'd have been quite grateful for something a bit more 'basic' from my team.
