Just seen the announcement via the alternative site. 14 goals in 51 competitive games - never one throughout his career to consistently hit the back of the net. Very much an acquired taste. For me the proverbial elephant in the room. Allows significant room for an upgrade. We've been crying out for that clinical edge. Since joining the Southern only 3 lads have to date hit double figures in terms of goals, the others obviously the lad German and Shaq. Moreover, I think this changes our dynamic from an over-dependency on the continual aerial, almost lethargic approach we had become accustomed too.
In all fairness to the lad, there were times when he worked so damn hard alone, understandably I think his attitude had become questionable. Had to be done. Got to the stage, where almost any alternative was becoming increasingly viable. Will probably suit all parties down to the ground. Onto Saturday, and an impressive crew we have rolling into town, very impressive on the road. Looking forward to a good contest.
