I saw something on Twitter earlier this week regarding our former midfielder Spencer McCall.

After undergoing treatment for what was suspected to be a stress fracture received playing football, he has in fact been diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a very rare form of bone cancer.

A Just Giving page has been set up for him aiming to raise £10,000 to help support him through his treatment. Although only with us a couple of seasons ago for a few months, Spencer was a very genuine, humble and approachable young man who always had time for a word with supporters.
