Firstly. Have to say the pitch was in fantastic condition and that may have something to do with the home teams good run they are having. Arriving in the club house to see a really good Hendon following made me think that this was the day we turn a corner. There looked to be more hendon fans in the ground than home supporters.
Without being too negative, Hendon still look like a team just put together (which is not far from the truth) but if we can get the simple things right then we will progress quicker as a unit. We didn't have a shot on target in the second half so yes on paper a point is pleasing but shots create goal chances! We battled well but just didn't create enough. There is no over night fix but with a team of players who can knuckle down we will hopefully have something to cheer about.
