I think it's time to deconstruct

Spot-light on Howie for me today. Second 45 for me, I thought the lad's tried to incorporate a short-passing game similar to recent oppositions. Formation wise, I thought we Howie lacked some presence in front. When he managed to get forward, I thought the lad did well. When doubled up against he looked potentially exposed as Chaps did earlier in the season. With the addition of the new lad up-front, the deployment of personnel is now for me completely up for grabs and a chance to go back to the drawing board - in a positive sense. The balance of the side is now the optimal consideration. Hopefully, over an ensuing couple of weeks, a definable style and individual roles may become more structured. Interesting to see if the gaffer shuffles the pack across the middle. I think the gaffer has options. May take a while, but the R&D project just took on another stage. Credit to the lads for putting in another tough shift. Keeping things simple and the ruthlessness will ensue. Keep working at it - the fans acknowledge what your doing.
