Thoughts after Met Police win

Whichever member of our wonderful management team came up with those half-time changes needs to be bought a beer or three. To me, it never looked like we were a man short - in fact sometimes it looked like we had the extra man. As Gary has said on twitter - once again the squad have belied their years - the ten players that started the second half had an average age of 23.
Superbly worked goal for the first - and Josh's refusal to give up pressuring their 4 resulted in the second - both goals finished very well.
As for the red card, having spoken to various people at half-time and after the game, I know there's differences of opinion, but unfortunately I think the decision was right, and Gary has said the same. Dave's challenge was, in my opinion, slightly out of control, both feet were off the ground and once you do that you're asking for trouble. I don't think for one minute that there was any intent to injure etc. What makes it worse is that Dave will miss 4 games, 3 for this red card, and an extra one because it's his second red of the season (he was sent off at Dulwich earlier in the season when we were under pressure for 90 minutes, held out and Josh scored a late winner).
However, with most players now back from injury - I think it's just Casey and Keagan left to return - we just need to keep doing what we're doing and we'll be in the play-offs.
Hope the lad from Met Police who was stretchered off is ok and makes a speedy recovery. Apparently the ambulance arrived at 6pm!
