I have just looked at the Dorking line-up and noticed that David Ray and Giuseppe Sole played. Eight seasons ago, Sole – for Woking in the FA Cup at Vale Farm – and Ray – for Carshalton were one of the best players on their respective teams, and Ray was a constant thorn in the Hendon side. I am sure someone like Billy Bricknell or Charlie Moone would add to their career goal tallies (almost) every time they played the mighty Greens, but it is nice to see a couple of others reduced to the ranks of mere mortals.
