Top sentiment. No denying the emotional directional pulls. Personally, the journey down to the Tonbridge game, I genuinely felt apprehensive. Not experienced that before. The journey back from Leatherhead was really gutting, comparable with a feeling I've only felt post Whitstable. Sitting here in front the box watching a programme about the London Cabbies and the infamous 'Knowledge test'. Puts into context the characteristics of our main man in the dugout. We fans, can blow up and rant, the manager has to hide his feelings.
Arguably his greatest managerial challenge. No come-back on him, whatever the outcome he can hold his head up high, and so can everybody else.
Despite expected set-backs the lads have demonstrated a calm, confident demeanour - we can do this.
As for the Gaffer, this can't be worse than the Cabbie exams. That's real torture.
Off subject, check out the League Cup Final score - Wow!
Going into the final hurdle, I actually feel quite relaxed - just another game!
