Every game the team-sheet smacks you in the face. We seem to be constantly without key personnel. It's sickening - sorry! Difference today the potency up-front. Top lad Kezie. Roundly booted all afternoon executed his role with aplomb, kept his composure. Talking of which. Do we really need a reminder of the consequences of ill discipline. Yes there are poor decisions and the Ref's a you know what. The new lad, constantly at the ref. I thought he did nought in the first 45 - second half reminded me of 50/50 Currie/Cracknell combo type. Interesting to see how he goes. Our bench likewise. Don't take the bait - it back-fires and looks frankly desperate.
Nothing on the pitch surprised me today. Thought the pitch and conditions were mild be what I expected. Thought we coped admirably. Intrinsically, I think something maybe more significant and maybe through adversity, we have options for a partnership up-front which if supplied will carry us over the line.
That is surely the key, particularly at home. How we create chances. Reiss's goal demonstrated his attributes, running with power. It may have started last week, but was lost in translation.
It may take a couple of games to see it come to fruition, but there is something to work with today.
That is equally as important as the three points.
Continuity.
