Enjoyed the game. Neither side looked quite as strong as they did in last season's fixture but again this was an even contest that I thought we shaded.

Gary rang the changes after Saturday's defeat and got the right reaction. The team shape looked a lot better with Big Dave giving us a decent base in midfield in a 4-3-3.

Our forwards showed pace and Karl Oliyide gave their left-back a proper chasing. I seem to remember he did the same to us for the early part of last season's trip to Wingate and the 4-3-3 formation suited him perfectly.

There were lots of solid performances with no-one having a bad game but Finbarr Robins had a spell in the 2nd half when it looked like he was taking control. He looked very strong.

The league has a strong feel to it this season and we will have to play at the top of our game to make an impression. We'll also need to close out games like this one, if we are to challenge the higher spots.
