FV Video - Update #2

I've had 31 expressions of interest - too few for this to be viable, I'm afraid.

I had hoped that FC Video might be able to come and film tomorrow's game so that potential punters would have had a chance to see the product before they buy it.

FC Video have 5 cameras, 4 of which are committed to 4 other non-League sides. Last season, the 5th camera was used to film Hayes matches. They have worked wit Hayes for a number of seasons but Hayes have not yet agreed terms for this season. Quite understandably, FC Video are operating on a "first come, first served" basis - if Hayes commit with them first, they will be their 5th club. If we commit first, then we will be their 5th club.

They were prepared to film tomorrow's game free of charge but they have agreed to film Hayes' game instead because of their long-standing relationship.

Where does that leave us?

FC Video's offer to film a Hendon match free of charge still stands but only for as long as the 5th camera slot is still open.

This really is supporters' last chance to get back to me if they are interested in participating (for a lump sum payment to the club of £80 or 9 monthly payments of £10). Even then, it's possible that FC Video will get back to me to confirm that they have agreed terms with Hayes in which case we'll need to look to see if there are any potential filming partners.

If that is the case, I'll be asking for someone to do the legwork in this - we are, after all, in this together.

See you tomorrow at SJP.
